This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses BuildQuote.
BuildQuote is operated by BuildQuot FZE, a company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). For the purposes of applicable UAE and DIFC data-protection law, BuildQuot FZE is the controller of personal data processed through the Platform.
We collect information you provide when you register, complete your profile, issue RFQs, submit quotes, or contact us. This includes your name, business details, trade-license and bank information (for suppliers), communications, and documents you upload. We also collect technical data such as device identifiers and log files.
We use your information to operate the Platform, verify your business, match builders and suppliers, deliver AI-assisted quote comparison, process payments, and communicate with you. We also use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the Platform.
We process personal data on the basis of the contract between you and BuildQuote, your consent (where required), our legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal obligations under UAE and DIFC law.
We share information with counterparties you transact with (builders see quotes from suppliers you invite; suppliers see the RFQs sent to them), with service providers acting on our behalf, and with regulators or courts when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Platform data is hosted in UAE-based data centres. We apply industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, and continuous monitoring — to protect your information.
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax, and audit obligations. You can request deletion at any time, subject to those obligations.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@buildquot.ae. We will respond within the time frames required by applicable law.
We use essential cookies to operate the Platform and optional analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings or our in-app cookie preferences, where provided.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email before they take effect. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version was published.
